🌀 Miele washer displays F14 error (drain error)

🔧 Troubleshooting Steps

1. Clean the drain pump filter. Miele has a filter at the bottom front — remove the cap, drain water, clear debris
   ✓ Expected: Filter clean
2. Check the drain hose routing — Miele requires no higher than 96 inches, no kinks
   ✓ Expected: Hose properly routed
3. If F14 persists, check the drain pump. Miele uses a sealed pump unit — if the impeller is broken or the motor is seized, the entire pump assembly must be replaced
   ✓ Expected: Pump runs, water drains
4. Check the pressure switch (water level sensor) on the top of the tub. Miele uses a diaphragm-type sensor. A stuck diaphragm causes false readings
   ✓ Expected: Diaphragm free
5. If all above check out, the control board's drain pump relay may be failing. Miele control boards are a known failure point on 10+ year old units
   ✓ Expected: Control board relay functional
