♨️ Frigidaire dryer displays F11 error (no heat)

Step-by-step troubleshooting guide — 5 steps, Dryer.

🔧 Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Measure the heating element resistance. Should read 10-30Ω. Infinite = open, replace element
    ✓ Expected: 10-30Ω
  2. Check the thermal fuse on the blower housing. Should read 0Ω. Open = blown, replace and find the overheating cause
    ✓ Expected: 0Ω — fuse intact
  3. Check the high-limit thermostat. Should read continuity at room temperature
    ✓ Expected: Continuity
  4. If all components test good, check for 240V at the element during a heat cycle. No 240V = control board relay issue
    ✓ Expected: 240V at element
  5. Clean the vent path from the dryer to the outside. A blocked vent causes overheating which can blow the thermal fuse
✓ Expected: Vent clear, good airflow
