  2. Remove and clean filter — food debris at bottom of dishwasher blocks drainage

  3. Check drain pump — listen for pump running during drain cycle. If silent, pump may be failed

  4. Test drain pump with multimeter — should read 15-40Ω

  5. Check drain hose for kinks or clogs — disconnect from disposal/wall drain, blow through

  6. Check air gap (if installed) — remove cap, clear debris from the air gap chamber
