🔧 Troubleshooting Steps

1. Check the door is fully closed and latched. A slightly open door can trigger the overflow sensor
   ✓ Expected: Door fully latched
2. Check the drain hose — it must be inserted into the standpipe or drain but NOT submerged. If the hose end is below the water level in the standpipe, water back-siphons
   ✓ Expected: Hose end above water level in standpipe
3. Check the float switch (overflow sensor) inside the tub. It should move freely up and down. If it's stuck in the 'up' position, it triggers E06 falsely
   ✓ Expected: Float moves freely
4. If the float is free, check the drain pump. A failing drain pump can cause water to accumulate faster than it can drain
   ✓ Expected: Pump runs, water drains
5. If E06 persists, check the water level sensor (pressure switch) on the top of the tub. A stuck sensor reads 'water present' when the tub is empty
   ✓ Expected: Sensor diaphragm free
