LG washers display alphanumeric error codes when a fault is detected. The code tells you which subsystem is affected. Here's the complete reference for front-load and top-load LG washers.

How to Reset an LG Washer
- Press Power to turn off
- Unplug from wall for 5 minutes
- Plug back in
- Press Power, then Start
Note: LG's OE code is one of the most common calls. In 9 out of 10 cases, it's a clogged drain pump filter, not a failed pump. The filter is behind the small access panel on the bottom front of the machine. Clean it before assuming the pump is dead.
